Robert "Bob" Clarence Mattson

Robert "Bob" Clarence Mattson, of Electric City, Washington, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018, at the age of 69.

Bob was born to parents Buddy and Evelyn Mattson on April 11, 1949, in Grand Coulee, Washington.

Bob spent the majority of his life in the Grand Coulee Dam area. He was a talented musician who took immense joy in playing music with his friends. Over the years, he played in several bands in Grand Coulee. He enjoyed many outdoor activities, such as camping, boating, and fishing with his family on Lake Roosevelt. He came from a family of skilled craftsmen. One of his passions was woodworking. He used his talent over the years to create many pieces which he shared with his family and friends.  

Bob is survived by his wife, Jenny Lou Mattson; daughters: Erika (Jason) Horn, and Kamela (Thomas) Farmer; sons: Bubba (Carrie) Parker, and Kyle (Anna) Mattson; his sister, Sandi Ensleman; brothers: William (Stacia) Mattson, and Bud (Stacy) Mattson; grandchildren: Kodie Horn, RiLee Kassman, Kaleb Horn, Tanner Bishop, Ella Parker, Ava Parker, and Gabe Parker. He is preceded in death by his parents, Buddy and Evelyn Mattson, and in-laws Dick and Betty Lou Jacobs.


A celebration of life will be scheduled May 19, 2018, 3 p.m. at the Electric City Bar and Grill.
