2/13 - A resident of Kelso Avenue in Electric City reported that sometime during the night, it appeared that someone had used pliers to gain entry into his truck. He said a document in his truck was torn, but it didn’t appear that anything was missing.

2/14 - An Electric City man was cited for driving with a suspended license, and the officer arrested him and administratively booked him into jail. He had been cited earlier for having a suspended license. The vehicle was moved off the roadway.

- An officer spoke to a juvenile who was in the presence of a mental health worker and who had indicated that he had thoughts of hurting himself. After a lengthy conversation with the youth, the officer determined that he wasn’t in danger.

- A person known to have a suspended license was seen driving on Martin Road. The officer turned around and caught up with the vehicle as it was leaving the bank on Midway Avenue, but by this time a licensed driver was at the wheel. He warned the driver not to let the other person drive, and sent the report to the prosecutor’s office for possible citing.

- Police received a call from a person who said he had seen a person do an “indecent act” behind the post office. The officer saw the man who had defecated nearby and advised him to use facilities the next time he had to go.

- Dispatch advised police that there was an injured deer on the roadway near Spokane Way. The deer was gone when the officer arrived.

- A woman who resides on Yakima Street was stopped for expired tabs and allegedly used a false license when she was asked to identify herself. The officer learned of a felony warrant for her and that she was driving with a suspended license. She was taken to Grant County jail on the warrant and cited for driving with a suspended license, obstructing justice and making a false statement to a police officer. Police are sending the report to the prosecutor’s office, asking that she also be charged with identity theft.

2/15 - A woman was arrested on a warrant after police had run an inquiry earlier and then saw her driving a vehicle. She was cited for driving with a suspended license and taken to jail on the warrant.

- Police checked on a report of an open door on an apartment on Miller Avenue and found that it appeared that everything was in order. A neighbor said the tenant of the apartment had been in the hospital for the previous two days. When told of the open door, the hospital patient said that her parents had been in the apartment to feed the cats and apparently hadn’t fully latched the door.

- A man allegedly threatened his neighbor and said he was going to get his gun after hearing what he thought was the neighbor beating his wife. He later learned that his neighbor was alone in his house. The police report stated that both parties were intoxicated, but the one was cautioned about threatening to use a gun. The incident occurred near Washington Place in Electric City.

2/16 - Police recognized a man walking near Pole Park as a person wanted on an arrest warrant. He was arrested and taken to Grant County jail.

- A man who ran from police in an earlier incident was found as a passenger in a vehicle stopped for an outdated tab. He was arrested and taken to Grant County jail. The driver of the car was cited for having no insurance, operating and possessing a vehicle without registration, and not having her operator’s license on her person.

- A man on Kent Street in Electric City was advised by police that he needed to attend to a wood fire he had in a cooker-style container.

2/17 - Police checked on an alarm system that was set off on an Eden Harbor Road address. The resident said he thought a cat may have set the alarm off.

2/11 - A driver picked up a citation for driving while her license was suspended after being stopped for going 30 mph in a 20 mph residential zone. A licensed driver riding as a passenger took control of the vehicle.

2/12 - A man on Spruce Street who allegedly tried to keep his wife from reporting a domestic violence incident was arrested. It was reported that the man smashed crackers in his wife’s face and took her phone away.

2/14 - Police followed up on what was described as a scam at a Grand Avenue house in Electric City.

2/15 - While walking through the casino, an officer noticed a man playing slots who was wanted on an arrest warrant. The man was asked to come outside, where he was arrested on the warrant and later taken to Okanogan County jail.

- An Everett woman told police that someone had backed into her car while it was parked at the bowling alley, then drove off. She stated that a piece of the person’s vehicle tailpipe was lodged in her wheel well. Pictures were taken for evidence.

2/16 - A woman was cited for a driving with a suspended license after being stopped for driving at night without her lights on. A passenger with a valid license took charge of the vehicle.

2/17 - An officer noticed a woman, known to be wanted on a warrant, exit a vehicle on Cedar Street. She was searched, the warrant was confirmed, and she was taken to Okanogan County jail.
