Grand Coulee Senior Center

Call for bids

The Grand Coulee Senior Center is accepting bids to replace approx. 600 sq. ft. of flooring in the commercial kitchen. A detailed work order can be requested by calling 633-2321 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Bid closing date March 1, 2018.

The Grand Coulee Senior Center reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive technicalities, and in its sole judgment, accept the bid which it deems is in its best interest.

The Grant County Conservation District Board of Supervisors hereby informs the voting public that the incumbent has been re-elected to the currently open seat by reason of being the only person filing for the position by the filing deadline. Therefore, no poll site, absentee balloting or mail balloting will be performed pursuant to WAC 135-110-370. For further information, please contact the District at 509-765-9618.

ORDINANCE #1047 of the City of

Grand Coulee, Wa.

On the 16th day of January, 2018, the City Council of the City of Grand Coulee passed Ordinance No. 1047. A summary of the content of said ordinance, consisting of the title, provides as follows:

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GRAND COULEE, WASHINGTON, ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT TO JUSTIFY THE CONTINUED IMPOSITION OF A SIX-MONTH MORATORIUM ON THE FILING AND ACCEPTANCE OF BUSINESS LICENSES, PERMITS, AND/OR DEVELOPMENT APPLICATIONS FOR, AND THE LOCATION OF, LAND USES OPERATING OR CONDUCTING MINI-STORAGE BUSINESSES OR OPERATIONS, AS REQUIRED BY RCW 36.70A.390 AND 35A.63.220; CONTAINING A SEVERABILITY PROVISION; AND, SETIING AN EFFECTIVE DATE

NEGOTIATE LEASES

Department of Natural Resources will begin negotiation of these expiring leases with existing lessees on the following parcels. All leases are subject to third party bids by interested parties. Lease terms and bidding information is available by calling the Southeast Region at 1-800-527-3305 or by visiting the Region Office at 713 Bowers Road, Ellensburg, Washington 98926. Written request to lease must be received by February 26, 2018, at the Department of Natural Resources, 713 Bowers Road, Ellensburg, Washington 98926.

Each request to lease must contain a certified check or money order payable to the Department of Natural Resources for the amount of any bonus bid, plus a $100 deposit. The envelope must be marked “Sealed Bid” and give the lease number, expiration date of lease applied for, and give the applicant’s name. The applicant must be prepared to purchase any improvements that belong to the current lessee. For details and qualifications to submit a request, contact the Ellensburg office or call 509-925-8510.
