Michael A. Iannetta, 76, passed away Tuesday morning, October 31, 2017, in Grand Coulee, Washington. He was born Friday, April 18, 1941, in Wenatchee, Washington, to Gilt and Elsie Iannetta. Saturday, June 17, 1961 marked the turning point in Michael's life when he married his life partner, Miss Neoma Sharr, in Electric City, Washington. Having been a member of both the Grand Coulee Eagles and Moose Clubs, Michael worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 30 years, retiring as Postmaster for Coulee Dam, Washington.

Michael's greatest love was spending with his family – picnicking in Chelan; camping; hunting with his son, Mike; fishing with Neoma (whom he freely admitted "most always caught the most fish"), swimming at Spring Canyon with his granddaughter, Hailey and his brother, Bob; and traveling to Wendover and Laughlin, Nevada. An avid Seahawks fan, Michael tried to never miss a game, beginning with the team's first pre-season kickoff in the Kingdome against the San Francisco 49ers, August 1, 1976. His other enjoyments included garage sales, singing karaoke, watching old movies and the series "Gunsmoke," walking, going to the casino and relaxing while watching the deer and turkey on his property.

Predeceased by both of his parents and his beloved wife, Neoma, earlier this year; Michael's legacy lives on through his, daughter, Terri McPherson (Dean); son, Michael J. Iannetta (Zyavonnie); granddaughter, Hailey Iannetta; brother, Robert Iannetta (Ellen) and sisters: Linda Logue (Ben) and Gloria Bowman.

At Michael's request, cremation has taken place with no services scheduled.

Please sign Michael's online guestbook at http://www.stratefuneralhome.com. Strate Funeral Home of Grand Coulee, Washington is honored to be serving his family.
