The Lake Roosevelt Raiders competed at the Tonasket Invitational on Thurs., Sept 28.

"It was a challenging meet," said Head Coach Brian Daniels. "Just in terms of the course, there's a big hill that they had to climb twice. I thought we had done a lot of hill work, but having to do that in a race setting was a challenge."

The coach said that, facing the grass-gravel-dirt surfaced, 2.8-mile course (shorter than the usual 3.1-mile course), his runners performed consistently with how they've been running.

The Raiders' next run is at Eastside Park in Omak today (Wednesday, Oct. 4) with the start time scheduled for 4 p.m.
