Lincoln County sheriff deputies assisted Colville Tribal Police with a search warrant in Coulee Dam Tuesday morning, Sheriff Wade Magers said Tuesday night on Facebook.

He said two suspects of common interest to the two jurisdictions were arrested on several felony crimes, including drug possession.

He did not give other information on the Tuesday arrests.

In other Lincoln County crime news, the sheriff also said two suspects plead guilty last week to attempted robbery of the Coulee Dam Credit Union branch in Creston last summer.

Todd Miller pled guilty to second-degree attempted robbery, and Jeremy Waters plead guilty to second-degree attempted robbery and second-degree assault for ramming a Lincoln County patrol car during his attempt to get away after fleeing from the robbery attempt, Magers said.

The sheriff said that citizens’ tips and an observant employee led to the capture of the two suspects, who were sentenced based on sentencing guidelines. Sentencing is based on a suspect’s criminal history and court rules. Waters was later transported to Idaho on an outstanding warrant, Magers said.

The sheriff said two other felony burglary suspects have been identified “through tips, DNA and police work,” which will lead to arrests in two more cases.
