NOTICE OF POSITION OPENING

Grant County Fire District #14 is in need of filing the Commissioner No. 2 position. Anyone interested in this position living within the District boundaries,

and not within the city limits of Grand Coulee or Electric City, please submit your letter of interest to Grant County Fire District #14, P.O. Box 282, Electric City,WA 99123 by August 25, 201, or attend the open public meeting on August 28, 2017 at 7:00 p.m., at the Electric City Fire Station.

Small Works/Vendor

Roster

The Grant County Fire District No. 14 is accepting applications from interested contractors and vendors wishing to be placed on the Small Works Roster and Vendor List as provided under RCW 35.04.155. Whenever the fire district seeks to construct any public work or improvement with an estimated cost of $200,000 or less, the small works roster may be utilized. Whenever the fire district seeks to purchase materials, supplies, or equipment not connected to a public works project with an estimated cost of $15,000 or less, the vendor list may be uti-lized. All interested contractors and vendors are invited to submit a letter of interest, which contains the following information:

a) Business name, address, telephone/fax number, and con-tact person

b) Contractor’s Washington Business License registration number

c) Insurance and bonding companies

d) List of projects and project owners for last year (contractors only)

e) Nature of business or service, or type of supplies or equip-ment

HOTEL/MOTEL TAX APPLICANTS

The City of Electric City will be accepting applications for the use of Lodging Tax Funds from all eligible organizations September 1st through September 29th, 2017. PUBLIC NOTICE OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF PORT DISTRICT #7 OF GRANT COUNTY, WA

Notice is hereby given that Port District #7 of Grant County, Washington will be holding a Special Meeting on Monday, August 14, 2017, at 10:00 a.m., at the Grand Coulee Dam Airport Office on Ludolph Road in Electric City, WA. The board will discuss the issue of executing a Federal Aviation Administration Airport Improvement Program Grant to conduct airfield pavement maintenance at the Grand Coulee Dam Airport.
