CALL FOR BIDS

Sealed bids will be received by Grant County Port District #7 (Owner) at the Grand Coulee Dam Airport Office, Ludolph Road, Electric City, WA 99123 until 11:00 a.m., Thursday August 10, 2017 for:

GRAND COULEE DAM AIRPORT, ELECTRIC CITY, WASHINGTON

AIRFIELD PAVEMENT MAINTENANCE

To Include:RUNWAY 3-21, TAXIWAYS AND APRON FAA AIP 3-53-0025-008

Bids submitted by mail should be sent to: Grant County Port District #7, P.O. Box 616, Grand Coulee, Washington 99133. It shall be the duty of each Bidder to submit his/her bid on or before the hour and date specified. Any bids received after the time for opening will not be considered. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the designated location and time.

A Pre-bid Conference will be held at 9:00 a.m., Thursday August 3, 2017, at the Grand Coulee Dam Airport Office, Ludolph Road, Electric City, WA 99123. Attendance is recommended, not mandatory.

Work generally consists of marking removal, crack sealing, seal coat application, and applying pavement markings on the airfield. Other work items include installing an unlighted guidance sign, mobilization and safety compliance.

The Contract Documents will be made available on 3:00 p.m., Thursday July 27, 2017. Free-of-charge access to project bid documents is available at http://www.to-engineersplanroom.com. Bid documents may be ordered in hard copy format for purchase at cost (non-refundable). Electronic documents in PDF format may be downloaded at no cost. A contract according to the General Conditions, Supplemental General Conditions, Special Provisions, and Addenda (if applicable) shall be signed prior to work commencing. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier’s check, money order or surety bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid, made payable to Grant County Port District #7. A performance bond, payment bond, and liability insurance in accordance with the contract documents will be required for the Contract.

The Grant County Port District #7 reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities, to accept any alternate bids, and make such award that it deems to be in the best interest of the Airport pursuant to the terms of the Instructions to Bidders and General Conditions.
