Time to involve the people

Last Wednesday evening, the Coulee Dam Town Council met to consider, among other agenda items, if the Town of Coulee Dam will change its status from being a Town to that of a City. Town Hall made little effort to inform the public and give adequate opportunity for comment on this matter. The relevance of this statement is: If not for the efforts of Larry Price, candidate for Mayor, and Fred Netzel, Bob Poch, Marcia Warnecke and Tim Brooks, candidates for Council-person positions, very few people in Town would have known about the Mayor’s proposal. It is time for the residents of Coulee Dam to elect people who not only care about the Town, but who will also involve the people in the decision making process.

On a National level, does your vote make a difference? On a State level, does your vote make a difference? On a Community level, does your vote make a difference? On a Community level your vote can make all the difference. So get involved and get informed on the candidates. The future progress of our Town is in the balance. The vitality of our Town needs to hear your voice. All voices. Make a difference…VOTE.
