Miracles happen daily

In a world where turmoil, drama and entertainment seem to grab the front page, top stories and flood our cyber space, I was reminded over the weekend that miracles still surround us. A blooming flower, an egg hatching, planets in orbit and other “natural” occurrences happen every second, but there are other things if we are willing to see.

Karrie and I have been, most Saturdays, going to Spokane early in the morning, driving to be there by 9 and experience some great things. We became a part of Healing Rooms International and were honored to be a part of their ministry team. Healing Rooms is a place in downtown Spokane that, when you first enter, appears like a clinic. But you soon realize that this place is something special.

If you go online and read about the healing rooms you will see hundreds of testimonies of how God changed people’s lives in these rooms. We were excited to be a part of this team and learn from them and God about how to care for his hurting children. We were intimidated, felt under-equipped and very nervous but confident that God was wanting us here at this very time. And yes, God does show up and, yes, so do the miracles.

Over the course of time, we have seen healings (if you want details, find us and talk to us). We have seen joy restored. We have heard prophecy spoken and come true, seen cancer disappear, old injuries healed, hearts unbroken, and lives turned around. All witnessed by us in these little rooms with painted themes on the walls. To be totally transparent, we have seen frustration and heartbreak too.

There is a key to all this. To see a miracle. To be the miracle. It seems simple enough. Believe. Believe you are healed because it says so in scripture. Live like you are healed. Believe in something that the world says is a coincidence, luck, or does not even exist. They do happen; I’ve seen it and so have others. Jesus already did the hard part; we just have to receive and believe.

I know there are those of you out there who think I am crazy, full of baloney and just do not believe the things I say and write. That’s OK; I am praying for you too. Because our heavenly Father loves you more than he loves me and wants you to come home. If you believe the blind will see, the lame will walk and stricken will be healed, it will happen. A God that breathed life into existence is not beyond coming to you and grabbing your hand, lifting your pain away from you. That is when you find out He has been there the whole time and we were just missing it.

I think it is time to have a conversation. Seek Him out. He is there. Miracles happen every day and it is time we start seeing them, believing in them and living them. Take His hand and be healed.
