Neoma Joyce Iannetta, 74, passed away Tuesday morning April 18, 2017, in Grand Coulee, Washington. Neoma was born Sunday, December 27, 1942, in Eugene, Oregon to Harry and Joan Sharr. Saturday, June 17, 1961, Neoma married the love of her life – Michael A. Iannetta, in Electric City, Washington. Raised a member of the Roman Catholic Church, Neoma had worked at the Green Hut Café and Akers Drug, prior to becoming a dental assistant to Dr. Jack Everett then Dr. Jay Worden. A gifted artist, Neoma was a former member of the Columbia Artists Association working with oils, water-colors and acrylics. Many of Neoma's family and friends have been blessed to receive gifts of Christmas Cards and Christmas Balls, beautifully handpainted by Neoma herself.

Aside from painting, Neoma enjoyed crochet and needlework and even built the rock fireplace which graced their home. Memories of the tasty creations which flowed from Neoma's kitchen...her potato salad, spaghetti, zucchini bread and green bean casserole to name a few, will cause her family's mouths to water for years to come.

An accomplished fisherwoman who could out-fish anyone else in the boat, Neoma, who also enjoyed hunting with her family, would happily participate in hauling, field dressing, skinning out, cutting up and packaging the game for freezing; every aspect except downing the game. Neoma was a voracious reader, who once braved the 90-mile drive to Spokane through a mid-winter snow storm with her daughter and son-in-law for the chance to meet and visit with her favorite author, James Patterson. When not spending time in a good book, Neoma enjoyed going to the casino a couple times a week. Neoma's greatest love, though, was always her role as Wife, Mom and Grandma to her family.

Predeceased by both of her parents, Neoma's legacy lives on through her husband and life's partner of 55 years, Michael A. Iannetta; daughter, Terri (Dean) McPherson; son, Michael (Zyavonnie) Iannetta; and granddaughter, Hailey Iannetta.

At Neoma's request, cremation has taken place with no services scheduled.
