Four-town spring cleanup scheduled

It’s time to clean up your lawn and flower beds and take advantage of the area spring cleanup, and free dump at the Delano Area Transfer Station.

The free dump privilege will be April 8–15.

Coulee Dam will pick up limbs only, which will need to be stacked at the curbside on the following schedule:

Tuesday, April 4 - Mason City Addition - Aspen, Birch, Cedar, Fir, Holly, Pine, Spruce, Civic Way and west side of Central Drive from Civic Way south.

Wednesday, April 5 - Airport Addition - Tilmus, Camas, River Drive, 11th and 12th Streets, Crest Drive from Central to River Drive, and Central Drive north to Crest.

Thursday, April 6 - Hilltop Addition - Tulip, Walnut, Yucca, and east side of Central Drive from Civic Way south and north to Crest Drive.

Friday, April 7 - West Coulee Dam.

Residents can deliver their other yard waste directly to the transfer station.


Residents of Electric City can place up to a pickup load at the curb by 8 a.m. Monday, April 17. The city crew will pick up only natural vegetation. All leaves, pine needles, cones, shrubs and grass clippings must be bagged. Limbs must be less than six feet long.

Elmer City will provide assistance for seniors 65 years old or older and for handicapped or disabled residents. Call town hall.

The city of Grand Coulee will pick up only natural vegetation April 17-21. Everything must be bagged, and limbs not over six feet long. One pickup load per residence, and those asking for pickup service must call city hall before noon on Wednesday, April 12.
