The Lake Roosevelt Raiders baseball team had to forfeit their doubleheader against Bridgeport on Saturday due to only having eight players.

“We had a family issue and weren’t able to field a full team,” said Levi Seekins, athletic director for LR.

The team was still able to play Oroville yesterday in Coulee Dam, results of which will be in next week’s Star.

The Raiders will host the Liberty Bell Mountain Lions in Coulee Dam in a doubleheader on Saturday, with the first game slated for 11 a.m.
