Althea was born July 8, 1963, in Grand Coulee, Washington, to Ranae Thomas and Al Garry and passed away Friday, December 23, 2016, in Tomball, Texas.

She was raised in Nespelem and attended school at Nespelem and Grand Coulee Jr. High.

She married John Hall Sr., and had four children: John Jr., Phillip, Charles and Rhonda.

After a divorce from John, she met Charles (Brown) Rider. They married and lived in Tacoma.

She enjoyed being a member of the Grand Coulee Eagles, spending time with family and watching movies, traveling to different places and meeting new people.

Althea is survived by her children: John Jr., Phillip, Charles, and Rhonda; her grandchildren; one brother, Randy Thomas; and one sister, Ellen Marie Thomas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ranae Thomas and Al Gerry, and Charles (Brown) Rider.
