12/5 - Police are looking for an Elmer City woman who allegedly struck her boyfriend of six years, causing a cut in his nose. The man said he didn’t want to get his girlfriend in trouble. When police arrived there was blood on the floor, on the walls and in the bathroom.

12/6 - Police checked on a report of a dog being mistreated on Dill Avenue. When the officer arrived, he found the apparently healthy dog in a dog house with food and water.

12/7 - An Electric City man was arrested and taken to Grant County jail after a domestic violence incident, and a second-degree criminal trespass charge. The report was sent to the prosecutor’s office. The man allegedly struck his wife and dropped hot ashes on her shoulder.

- Police investigated a two-car, non-injury accident near the Grand Coulee Library. One vehicle backed into another, causing minor damage to the parked vehicle. The drivers exchanged insurance information.

12/8 - A Hill Avenue woman requested police to come to her apartment because a woman there was being loud and she wanted her to leave. When police arrived the woman was leaving.

- A Hill Avenue woman told police that when she arrived home her apartment was full of people. She said that when she objected to a man about smoking in her apartment he knocked her down and kicked her in the face. Police checked and found both had warrants out for their arrest. The woman was arrested and taken to jail and police are looking for the man.

- Police responded to Hillcrest in Electric City where an alarm was sounded. The woman at the residence said she had hit the wrong button, setting setting the alarm off.

- A Grand Coulee man was arrested on a stolen-vehicle charge and for allegedly being in possession of crystals identified as methamphetamine. He was taken to Grant County jail.

- An 11-year-old girl was at Coulee Medical Center where she was being treated for a dog bite received at Belvedere. Tribal police were called to pursue the matter.

12/9 - USBR Plant Protection advised police of two vehicles parked in the Visitor Center lower parking lot. Police arrived and found both vehicles unoccupied. Plant Protection didn’t ask for the vehicles to be removed.

- An Electric City woman reported that she had a call from the U.S. Marshal’s office telling her she needed to pay money or be arrested. It was explained to her that the call was a scam.

- A woman told police that she had been assaulted when she went to a residence on Miller Avenue in Electric City to collect some items that belonged to her father.

- A woman slid off the roadway in icy conditions while trying to reach her residence on Goodfellow Avenue in Electric City.

12/11 - A woman who lived on River View Drive in Coulee Dam was cited for an invalid driver’s license and not having insurance after being stopped near North Dam Park for not fully stopping at two stop signs. She told the officer that she was afraid she couldn’t get going again because of the ice and snow. She got a warning on that infraction.

- A woman who resides on Grand Coulee’s Main Street was banned from all Safeway stores for a year after being charged with taking liquor off the shelf and emptying them twice, then filling the bottles back up with water and returning them to the shelf. She is being charged with theft.

12/4 - Police handled an abuse of 911 by a party on Holly Street.

12/6 - An officer responded to a suspicious person call on Birch Street but didn’t find anything.

12/8 - Dispatch reported to police that a garage door had been left open on Stevens Avenue. The officer closed the door.

12/9 - Police assisted a tribal officer on an assault call at the Coulee Dam Casino. A woman was banned from the casino for 90 days.

12/10 - A driver received a verbal warning on Camas because the license plate of the vehicle was obscured with snow.
