Grateful for a good (local) campaign

Aren’t we all so grateful that this fiasco of an election year is over! For those young people who were experiencing their first presidential election, please don’t be turned off by all of it. The media has stated “never in our history have we ever seen anything such as this.” Hopefully it will never happen again!

The one bright spot for our family was campaigning for Nick Wallace for Grant County Superior Court Judge. Putting up signs, marching (huffing and puffing) in parades, etc.

Certainly we were disappointed that the results were not what we had hoped for. It is what it is. But I’m so proud to have been associated with such a positive, truthful group of people. Nick’s campaign staff and family certainly are a class act!

I have known Nick for well over twelve years via soccer. His involvement in the community is amazing. I’d be curious as to how many hundreds of kids Nick has coached and been a positive influence in their lives. My two granddaughters, Jessie and Joelee, are included in those hundreds.

Nick will continue to be the positive person he is. Doing soccer with the Endeavor Soccer Academy, coaching all the kids, spending hours upon hours practicing law at Schultheis Tabler Wallace in Ephrata.  And I’m assuming being at the court house at times as a part time judge. He certainly is an attribute to whatever he is doing in our community and I’m pleased to call the Wallace’s my friends.
