The coulee’s bearded guest will be at North Dam Park about 4 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 26, as part of a 3-5 p.m., community Christmas celebration, said Birdie Hensley, one of the organizers.

There will be music, a cake walk for kids, a tree lighting, and treats galore.

Members of the Community Choir will provide music to help get people in the holiday mood.

The Moose Lodge and the city of Electric City will have coffee, hot dogs, and hot chocolate to cut the chill, and children are asked to create Christmas ornaments to place on the park’s Christmas tree.

A cake walk, designed for children, will be part of the afternoon celebration.

Part of the celebration will be the lighting of the tree.

Then about 4 p.m., the ever-popular bearded guest, Santa Claus, will make his appearance. There will be opportunity for kids to have photos taken with Santa.
