Chamber This Week
The Grand Coulee Dam Area Chamber of Commerce will be meeting at noon this Thursday, August 4, at the Eagles Lodge in Grand Coulee. Launi Ritter of Heaven–Sent Computer Services will be talking about optimizing cell phone battery life.
American Legion to Meet
The American Legion Post 157 regular meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, August 9 at the Zion Lutheran Church, 348 Mead Ave., Grand Coulee. John Tangin, the HUD-VASH (Housing & Urban Development – Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing) coordinator will be speaking on the supportive services to help veterans who are homeless and their families find and sustain permanent housing.
Local AA Meetings
Confused in the Coulee AA meetings are held on Mondays and Fridays at 6 p.m. at the Vets Center in Electric City. Call Paul at 633-3377 days or 633-3345 evenings. New Hope Group meetings are held Wednesdays at 6 p.m. at the Vets Center. These are open and non-smoking.
In Nespelem, the group Bound and Determined holds its meetings Monday evening at 7 p.m. at the Catholic Church. Contact Myrna at 634-4921 for more information.
