Bird and Smith promoted at bank

Sjana Bird has recently been promoted to senior vice president and regional branch administrator of North Cascades Bank, the bank announced.

Bird, who has managed the bank's Grand Coulee branch for 15 years, will now oversee the branch-operations managers at the bank's Grand Coulee, Omak, Okanogan and Twisp branches.

Jerri Smith has been promoted to branch operations manager at the Grand Coulee branch.

After attending Eastern Washington University, Bird began her banking career working at a credit union. Born and raised in Grand Coulee, she is active in the community and is currently a member of the Grand Coulee Dam Area Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club. She has one son and is very involved with his car racing endeavors.

Smith has been with North Cascades Bank for 11 years, first as a teller and then as a personal banker. Prior to beginning her banking career, she worked in retail and customer service for 10 years in the Olympia area. Smith enjoys watching local softball games, college football, and camping while exploring the Pacific Northwest.
