The Raiders traveled north to Okanogan Saturday to take on the number-one Bulldogs. In the first game the Raiders kept it close until the fifth inning when the Bulldogs scored 8 runs to put the game out of reach. The final in the first game was Okanogan 10, LR 1.

At the start of the second game the Raiders scored 2 runs at the top of the first. Then, in the bottom of the first inning, the Bulldogs exploded with 11 runs. The Raiders could not come back. The final score in the second game was Okanogan 14, LR 2.

"We made too many mistakes against a good Okanogan team. Hats off to Okanogan," Raider Head Coach Billy Nicholson said. "We will work harder in practice to compete better in our next games."

Last night the Raiders were scheduled to head to Oroville to take on the lowly Hornets. On Friday, the Raiders will host the Liberty Bell Mountain Lions for a double-header starting at 3 p.m. Liberty Bell is sitting in third place behind Okanogan and Brewster.
