The Star - News, views and advertising of the Grand Coulee Dam Area

A large crowd enjoys the Grand Coulee Dam Area Chamber of Commerce's fireworks display Saturday night at the Festival of America. The finale used a long span off the top of Grand Coulee Dam and lit the area in a red glow. Cheers from the crowd were heard from the north end of town for the display that was doubled in size and expense from recent years and called "spectacular" by some. The display was engineered by Rocket Man Pyros out of Spokane.
