Nine volunteers answered the call Saturday for help in fixing up North Dam Park, in the process earning in-kind hours toward grant funding for the Coulee Area Park and Recreation District. District chair Bob Valen said the group spent three hours picking up trash, removing an installed trash can from the picnic area, tearing down a shed behind home plate on the upper ball field and erecting a new picnic table there.
