NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY that the City of Electric City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at 7:00 pm on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at the City Hall located at 10 Western Avenue to take public testimony on proposed amendments to the Zoning Code, Title 18 of the Electric City Municipal Code. The amendments to the zoning code have been developed by the Commission and staff to address: definitions and increasing height and size regulations in 18.40.020 for accessory structures in residential zones; clarifying fence height and location regulations in 18.45.080; and adding a new section on home occupations to eliminate the requirement for a Conditional Use Permit for specific home businesses. Copies of the proposed amendments are available for review at City Hall. All persons requiring assistance in accessing City Hall or needing other assistance are requested to contact City Hall at 633/1510 prior to the hearing.

On the 21st day of October, 2014, the City Council of the City of Grand Coulee, Washington, passed Ordinance No. 1022. This Ordinance will be effective the 3rd day of November, 2014. A summary of the content of said Ordinance, consisting of the title, provides as follows:

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GRAND COULEE, WASHINGTON, AMENDING CABLE TELEVISION FRANCHISE ORDINANCE NO. 911, AS AMENDED, TO EXTEND CABLE FRANCHISE SERVICE FOR AN ADDITIONAL ONE YEAR PERIOD; CONTAINING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND SETTING AN EFFECITVE DATE.
