EMT Class to be offered

The Grand Coulee Volunteer Fire Dept. will be putting on an EMT Class. It will be part online and part classroom. There will be online modules that have to be done within certain time frames along with practicals that will be completed at the fire station. Also study sessions will be held at the fire station.

To take this class requirements include:

•must be 18 years of age

• pass a background check

• have high school diploma or GED

• have current health care provider CPR card

A CPR class will be held on January 12 at 6 p.m. at the Grand Coulee Volunteer Fire Department station. Also a meeting about the class will be held some time in January. It is planned to start the class in February. It takes three to four months to complete. The cost has not yet been determined.
