11/21 - A caller reported a theft of liquor from an Almira location and said the party was heading toward Grand Coulee, and gave a description of the vehicle. Police stopped the vehicle but the driver refused to talk with police, so the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office was called and a deputy continued with the investigation. The driver gave a Grand Coulee address.

11/21 - A woman reported that her car parked next to SR-155 had been opened and a variety of things taken. She said the loss was about $60.

Police driving between “A” and “B” Streets noticed a door to a storage unit was open and called the owner to report the problem.

11/22 - Dispatch advised police of a suspicious person on Mead Avenue accompanied by two females possibly prowling a truck there. Police went to the location but couldn’t find anyone.

- Police checked on a motion alarm going off at Banks Lake Pub. The owner was contacted, and police went inside and found no one there. Security cameras were checked, but nothing was found. The report stated it was a false alarm.

- An Electric City resident advised police that an individual wearing dark clothing was almost hit as he walked between that city and Grand Coulee. The party said the man walked too close to the highway and that you could not see him until you were right on him. He suggested that police tell the person to walk facing traffic.

- USBR Plant Protection advised that a white pickup was parked in a restricted area where tour vans park. The driver told police that she was waiting for her husband, who works at the Bureau of Reclamation, to arrive for lunch. While the officer talked with the driver the husband showed up. They were told to park someplace else.

- Police noticed an injured deer near Pole Park and dragged it to the side of the road. The officer had to kill the deer.

11/23 - Police checked on a report that a man was sleeping in the restroom at Coulee Gas. The man, from Keller, was advised that he had to leave. Later the same day, police had a call that a man was drinking alcohol at the overlook area just above Grand Coulee Dam. It was the same Keller man, who stated that he was on his way to Coulee Dam. He was told he couldn’t drink on those premises and to move along, which he did.

- Police provided traffic control while city crews worked on a sink hole on Partello where water was pouring out. The reporting party was concerned that someone would drive into the hole.

- An Electric City man was cited for theft after police who checked a security camera tape saw him take a beverage, put it under his coat and exit H&H Grocery. Police were able to identify the man because of other incidents.

- A man from Nine Mile Falls wanted on a warrant was arrested at Four Corners and taken to Grant County Jail.

Police tried to reach the owner of a storage unit on Morrison Street after noticing that one of the unit doors had been forced.

11/25 - Police responded to an alarm at a residence on Ronald Drive and found two doors unsecured and a dog outside. The owner was contacted.

- A Coulee City man was stopped near North Dam Park when an officer observed that one of his tail lights was out. The officer noted that the registration was outdated and the driver could not show proof of insurance. He was cited.

11/26 - Police checked on a report that a red car was driving on Burdin Boulevard honking its horn. The officer found the car and noticed that its license had expired, so he stopped it. The driver was wanted on three warrants. She was arrested and taken to Grant County Jail.

11/27 - A woman on Stevens Avenue in Electric City advised police that her son was high on drugs and yelling at himself in the bathroom. The boy was gone when police arrived but was later found on Grand Avenue and when questioned said he didn’t plan to do harm to himself.

- A 26-year-old man listed as a transient was arrested and taken to Grant County Jail after throwing a handful of rocks at a passing car. The rocks cracked one window and made some small dents on the driver’s door. When police arrived the man was sitting along the road near the entrance to Sunbanks Lake Resort, and when police tried to put handcuffs on him, he pulled away. Charges are malicious mischief, reckless endangerment, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

- A woman living on Kelso Avenue in Electric City told police that a man living on Kent Street had loaned a vehicle to a man a week ago. He hadn’t returned it and she wanted to report it stolen. Later after contacting the man who had the vehicle it was decided not to report it stolen.

- An ambulance was sent to a residence on Weil Place because a woman was unconscious. The police report stated that the woman had been drinking and had taken some prescription medicine. She woke up and refused ambulance service and her sister said she would take care of her.

11/28 - USBR Plant Protection advised police of four males inside North Dam Park after hours. Police found four fishermen and they were told to leave.

- Police interrupted a man who was trying to take some tires off a trailer at Les Schwab Tires. The man, from Electric City, resisted police and stated he had permission to do so. Then he said he was going to sue one of the officers for $5,000. The officers decided to let the man go while they checked with Les Schwab employees. One of the officers offered him his business card in the event he decided to sue but the man ignored the card.
