Grand Coulee is sporting a sixth-grade girls' basketball team in a Moses Lake league this year, following the change to a new school system that groups grades differently. Grand Coulee Dam School District switched this year from a "middle school" system that included fifth through eighth grades to a "junior high-high school" that starts at seventh grade.
