The tennis courts are being completely redone at Lake Roosevelt High School. The project started this last week and they will be finished in time for spring play. The courts were so badly cracked that most of the tennis matches had been moved to the Coulee Dam town courts near the old swimming pool in Cole Park. For $246,000, the district will get state-of-the-art courts built with “post-tension” concrete with an acrylic overlay. The courts will be blue, with a green area surroundiing them . — Roger S.
