OES to Meet

The Order of the Eastern Star will hold Initiation at its October 9 meeting. It will be Chapter Dress and short form. Refreshments will be provided by Joyce Moore and birthday cake by Bonnie Farr.

Mosquito District to meet

Grant County Mosquito District will hold its regular monthly meeting Wednesday, Oct. 1, at 7 p.m. at the Electric City city hall.

American Legion Post 157 Meets

The American Legion Post 157 holds legion meetings on the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Vets’ Center in Electric City. All veterans are welcome. The next meeting will be held Tuesday, October 14. For more information contact Jerry at 633-2579.

CMC Guild to Meet

Coulee Medical Center Guild (Auxiliary) holds its regular luncheon meeting the third Tuesday of every month. The next meeting is Oct. 21, in the Community Room at CMC. Lunch begins at 11 a.m. with the meeting to follow from noon to 1 p.m. Everyone is invited. Membership information call 633-0405.

Wenatchee Valley Erratics Chapter

Wenatchee Valley Erratics Chapter of the Ice Age Floods Institute will meet 7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct.. 14, at the Wenatchee Valley Museum, 127 South Mission, Wenatchee. The speaker is Dr. Susan Kiefer, emerita geologist at the University of Illinois. TOPS 1554 Meeting Date and Time Change

TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) Chapter 1524 meets on Tuesdays at 9:15 a.m. at Grand Coulee Senior Center prior to the exercise group gathering at 10 a.m. Come and join for the health of it.

Chapter TOPS #WA1554 will be meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Mondays beginning August 4. They meet at the Coulee Dam Community Church-Presbyterian. For more information call Vivian Dugan 633-2164.

SAIL Exercise Classes For Age 65+

SAIL (Stay Active and Independent for Life) exercise classes meet at the Coulee Dam Community Church, 509 Central Drive, Coulee Dam on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm.  SAIL is a strength, balance and fitness class for adults 65 plus.  Classes are free.  For more information, contact Gina Brueske 633-0255 or Vivian Dugan 633-2164.
