Chamber This Week

The Grand Coulee Dam Area Chamber of Commerce will meet Thursday, August 21, at noon, at La Presa in Grand Coulee. Launi Ritter of Heaven-Sent Computer Services will be the guest speaker. Next week Lynda Nutt of the Corps of Engineers will be the guest speaker.

TOPS 1554 Meeting Date and Time Change

TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) Chapter 1524 meets on Tuesdays at 9:15 a.m. at Grand Coulee Senior Center prior to the exercise group gathering at 10 a.m. Come and join for the health of it.

Time change for Chapter TOPS #WA1554. Now the group will be meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Mondays beginning August 4. They meet at the Coulee Dam Community Church-Presbyterian. For more information call Vivian Dugan 633-2164.

American Legion

Post 157 Meets

The American Legion Post 157 holds legion meetings on the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Vets’ Center in Electric. All veterans are welcome. The next meeting will be held Tuesday, September 9. For more information contact Jerry at 633-2579.

CMC Guild to Meet

Coulee Medical Center Guild (Auxiliary) holds its regular luncheon meeting the third Tuesday of every month. The next meeting is Sept. 16, in the Community Room at CMC from noon to 2 p.m.

The guild is seeking new members. Membership dues are only $5 a year. For more information call 633-0405.

Family History Center Available

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints invites all who desire to utilize the Family History Center in the Coulee Dam Chapel, located at 806 Spruce Street in Coulee Dam. The center is now open each Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. The family history centers are free and open the public.
