You can capture the fun this weekend when the Ridge Riders feature their Junior Rodeo, beginning at 10 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday.

Bring your cameras and capture some of the most exciting type of rodeo activity you will ever see. Watch youngsters show their mettle, and who knows, you may be watching a future rodeo star.

It’s all happening at the Ridge Rider Rodeo Grounds in Delano.

Features include, but are not limited to, bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, bull riding, calf roping, and steer wrestling, all junior style.

Then there are the fun features like goat tying, goat flanking, mutton busting, goat undecorating, and a whole lot more.

And it’s all free. So bring the family, enjoy the fun, and have lunch out at the Cook Shack, right on the rodeo grounds.

Stock is being supplied by Mark McMillan.

Sponsors of the event include the Ridge Riders, Coulee Dam Federal Credit Union, Coulee Dam Casino, Jess Ford, Coulee Medical Center, DWK Fowler Construction, John Deere, and Ag Link.

A special feature on Saturday is the drawing for the DWK Fowler Construction playhouse.

Tickets, at $1 each, will be on sale throughout the week. The playhouse can be seen in front of Loepp Furniture on Main Street in Grand Coulee. See Cindy Edwards at Loepps for tickets.

The playhouse was built by DWK Fowler Construction.
