Leta (Linda) Joyce Hall, 88, of Coulee Dam, Wash., passed away on Friday, June 13, 2014. Leta was born in Spokane, Wash., on March 26, 1926, to Leland and Ethel Mae Johnson. Her earliest memories are of living in Omak, Wash., where her father was a barber. They moved to Spokane when her father took a job with the state of Washington as a Parole Officer. She eventually moved to Coulee Dam and met Charles L Hall while attending high school. They were married on June 28, 1947, in Spokane.

She was a member of P.E.O. and a lifelong member of the Coulee Dam Community Church where she sang in the choir for many years.

Leta's favorite pastimes were playing bridge, doing crossword puzzles, reading and cooking.

She is survived by her three sons: Larry L Hall (Angel) of Coulee Dam, Randy L Hall (Dee) of Genesee, Idaho, and Michael T Hall (Kim) of Grand Coulee. She had two grandchildren, Andrew M and Nathaniel L Hall. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Donald Johnson and her husband of 60 years Charles L Hall.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 7, 13, 2014, at 2 p.m., at the Coulee Dam Community Church.
