Grand Coulee

6/16 - A person on Continental Heights reported that a fire alarm that would sound when the door was opened had been broken off by an unknown party.

- An Electric City woman reported that someone had slashed one of her tires and keyed the paint on her vehicle.

6/17 - A Coulee Dam woman reported that her car had been struck while parked at North Cascades Bank. The woman was asked to get a damage report so information could be filed.

- An Electric City woman who listed her 17-year-old son as a runaway told police that she was afraid that he might return and assault her. She stated he was a gang member.

6/18 - An Electric City man had his vehicle impounded after he was stopped for a safety issue and the officer learned that the man had been driving with a suspended license. He was cited for being a habitual offender for driving without a license and also for not having an ignition interlock in place.

6/19 - A Wilbur man is being sought and will be charged with violating a no-contact court order and first-degree custodial interference after an incident at Sunbanks Resort. The man allegedly took keys, a phone, and a 10-year-old boy from a villa at the resort. The boy’s mother said that she had a no-contact order against the former boyfriend. The boy was taken to his father’s place and released, and police have asked Lincoln County authorities to help locate the wanted man.

- A woman told police that she saw a dog chase a child on Burdin Boulevard. The owner of the dog was told if the dog was loose again he would be cited. The dog did not bite the child.

6/20 - After they received a report of animal abuse, police warned a woman living on W. Grand Ave., in Electric City that she needed to take care of her dog. The dog had been penned up in a garage. She told police that it received food and water twice a day.

6/21 - Police responded to a report that two females had the door to a pickup open and when the party yelled at them, they left. Police checked the area but were unable to locate the pair. It wasn’t known if anything was taken.

- An Electric City man reported that someone had been dumping garbage at his rental house on Kelso. He supplied police with a name he found in the dumped material.

- Police impounded the motorcycle of a Burdin Blvd. man because its license had expired, it had equipment dangling that created a dangerous situation and the rider didn’t have a motorcycle endorsement. The rider was cited.

6/21 - The Grant County Housing Authority is requesting burglary and theft charges against a former manager at the Continental Heights apartments in Grand Coulee.

The suspect allegedly entered an office without permission and used Internet service without authority.

6/23 - USBR Plant Protection advised police of two suspicious vehicles parked between the 230 kV switchyard and the 500 kV switchyard. Police recognized one vehicle as belonging to a local resident and his vehicle was parked off the road. The second vehicle was gone when police arrived.

6/24 - Police had a report of a suspicious vehicle with expired plates parked on Palmer Street in Electric City. The officer who checked on the vehicle found that it belonged to a person living on Burdin Boulevard. The report stated that the vehicle might be towed.

Coulee Dam

6/16 - Police told a Civic Way resident that she couldn’t go into her neighbor’s yard and that if she continued to do so she could be cited for trespass. She told the officer that there was a lien that permitted her to enter her neighbor’s yard. It was explained to her that the city held the lien so it could have access to do city work. The woman’s son had entered the neighbor’s back yard to prop up a fence that had fallen down.

6/17 - Police checked on a report that fireworks had been set off near the Mormon church. The officer couldn’t find any evidence of fireworks.

6/18 - A woman on Camas Street told police that her ex-husband had taken the kids for the weekend and refused to return them. She was advised that she needed court papers in order to get the children back.

6/20 - An alarm company in Pasco advised police of an alarm at a location on Lincoln Avenue. Police checked and cleared the alarm.

6/22 - A caller said a suspicious person was ducking down inside a car across from the casino. Police checked it out and learned that a man was loading music on his phone and checking his emails.

6/23 - Police checked on two intoxicated men sleeping in the park, who told the officer that they were waiting on a bus to take them to Spokane. A tribal officer appeared and found that both men were wanted on warrants. Since the two were tribal members the Tribal officer took charge of them.
