Raider golf defeated a small Manson Trojan team April 29 at Lake Chelan in an 18-hole contest.

Manson had only one boy and two girls competing against LR. The boys medalist, Riley Dickinson, was from Liberty Bell competing for Manson.

Brandon Desautel led the Raider boys with a 104.

“Brandon Desautel turned in his best performance of the season,” Head Coach Steve Files noted. “He looked confident and in control of his game.” Mikel Friedlander was the girls’ medalist with a score of 123.

Austin Rosenbaum shot a 109 for the day, and Madisyn Byam rounded out the Raiders girls’ 18 with a 128.

“All our kids need to overcome adversity out on the course, play smart, stay positive, and visualize the next shot,” Files commented.

Last night the Raiders travelled to Oroville to take on the Hornets.

The last regular season match for LR is on May 13 at Banks Lake Golf Course against Moses Lake Christian and Columbia Basin Secondary, starting at 2:30 p.m.
