Sheila and Derlyn Brown are leaving on March 17, to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They will be serving in Cove Fort , Utah, one of the last remaining historical way station for travelers. Cove Fort is located near Zion National Park and the town of St George. Elder and Sister Brown (as they will be known for the duration of their mission), will be welcoming tourists at the visitor center.

This will be Sister Brown's first mission. As for Elder Brown, he served, as a young man, a two-year mission with the Navajo nation and still loves to speak Navajo today.

At the moment, the LDS Church of Coulee Dam has four missionaries in the mission field: Kim Barry is serving in the Atlanta, Georgia mission, Charles Bond is serving in Portugal and Linda and Kent Peterson are serving in Salt Lake City, Utah.
