1/27- Police went to Coulee Medical Center on a request from mental health officials who had an active pickup order on a person at the hospital. A medical doctor told police that they were not needed, so they left the facility until later when they learned that the man was wanted out of Mattawa for first-degree robbery. Police went to the hospital again and this time arrested the man and took him to Grant County Jail.

- A woman who told police that her dog had been stolen from her truck said she saw her dog posted on Facebook. She later was able to get her dog back, but told police that if she found out who took it she would like to press charges.

- An Electric City resident acknowledged that he may have backed into a smaller vehicle at Electric City Bar and Grill with his pickup. A witness said she saw the truck strike the vehicle. Insurance information was exchanged.

1/28 - A Continental Heights woman said she was poked in the eye by her husband, but thought it might have been accidental. She was interviewed at Coulee Medical Center and her husband, who lives separately from her. Both agreed on how the incident occurred. He had been invited to the house and left after an argument. She ran after him, the report stated, and when he turned around hit her with his hand or fist. Police arrested the man on an assault charge and took him to Grant County Jail.

1/29 - A police officer had to force a door open at a residence on Division Street to help medical personnel who were trying to gain access to the home to assist an unconscious woman. She was taken to Coulee Medical Center for treatment.

1/30 - USBR Plant Protection called police to report a man walking down the center of the highway near Pole Park. Police contacted the man who was dragging a large black plastic on the roadway. He stated that the bag was heavy and it was easier for him to drag it on the icy roadway than to carry it. The officer told the man to use the sidewalk or he could be arrested for disorderly conduct. The man complied.

- Police saw a man walking in the Four Corners area, checked on him and found he was wanted on a warrant. He was taken to Grant County Jail.

1/31 - Police responded to a report of domestic violence on Roosevelt Drive. A man and woman there agreed to avoid each other for the night.

- An officer was asked to check a residence on Jackson Street in Electric City and found the door open. He checked the residence and didn’t find anyone inside. He advised the homeowner who lived out of town.

- An owner of a credit card advised police that there were three charges made that were not made by him. They are checking on the illegal charges.

2/2 - Grant County deputies requested a standby when they served a subpoena on a man living on Stevens Street in Electric City. There was no incident and the subpoena was served.

- Shortly after the Super Bowl, police received a call of shots being fired in the Park Avenue area in Electric City. The report stated that there were fireworks going off all over the place.

- An officer provided backup to a Coulee Dam officer who stopped a man wanted on a misdemeanor warrant. The man had fled and couldn’t be found.

2/3 - Police had a car towed from Granger Road, where a Deer Park owner had left it, blocking traffic flow.

1/29 - Police investigated a hit-and-run accident at Jack’s Coulee View Service. A man told police that his cousin’s vehicle had been severely damaged early in the morning and that he had to gain a ride to his work in Nespelem. He asked why it took so long for the police to respond to his call. The officer explained that he’d only gotten the call from dispatch 10 minutes earlier. The police report stated that the car had been hit in the front fender and tire. Police are investigating.

- An officer stopped a vehicle on the Elmer City Access Road and found that the driver didn’t have a license, had failed to transfer title within 45 days of purchase and didn’t have insurance. A licensed driver came to take charge of the vehicle and the driver was cited.
