1/3 - A man reported that his $225 boots were missing from his locker at the 500 Kv Switchyard. He last remembered seeing the boots about a month ago.

- A Grand Coulee man called to report that his live-in girlfriend had taken his car and he wanted it back. Later the woman contacted police to ask if she was going to be arrested. She was told then that it might be a good idea to take the car back. The man called again and police told him that since there was a domestic relationship, it was a civil matter.

1/6 - A Coulee Dam woman’s car stalled near the overlook area just above Grand Coulee Dam and officers directed traffic until the vehicle was moved.

- A man reported to police that he saw a child who was wet sitting out on the porch of a residence on Diamond Street. Police checked on the report and found nothing and that the address given didn’t exist.

1/7 - Center School reported that a third-grader had left the school. He later was found on SR-174, and returned to the school.

- Police responded to a domestic violence call on Noble Road.

- A woman told police that she had lost her cell phone at the Grand Coulee Dam Middle School. She said she had called the phone company and had the phone shut off.

1/8 - A teller at Cascade National Bank mistakenly activated an alarm. Police arrived and were told it was a false alarm.

1/10 - A man who owns a residence on Banks Avenue reported that when he checked the property he found a dishwasher, freezer and countertop were missing.

- An officer checked on a report that there was a car being driven as if the driver was impaired. Police found the car, pulled it over, and found an elderly driver who said he was crowding the fog line because someone behind him was following too close and he wanted the other driver to pass.

- A Yakima driver was cited for speeding in Electric City. She was stopped for going 47 mph in a 35 mph zone.

1/11 - You can walk your dog on North Dam, but not after dark, a Moses Lake man learned after he was reported to police by USBR Plant Protection.

1/12 - A man from the Netherlands working with a contractor at the dam was questioned about taking pictures at the dam. He explained that he wanted to show pictures of where he worked when he returned home.

1/8 - A Wenatcheee man reported that his car had skidded while turning from River Drive onto 12th Ave., and he slid into a power pole. The officer checked the power pole and found no damage to it, but the car suffered considerable damage.

1/9 - A man living on Tilmus was arrested for domestic violence and preventing a person from reporting a crime and taken to Okanogan County Jail. He said that he and his “lover,” another man from the same address, had gotten into an argument and a struggle occurred. Police said that he was intoxicated and had taken two cell phones from his roomate to prevent a call to police.
