Trees of Sharing ornaments all around the community

The Trees of Sharing trees, decorated with ‘wish’ ornaments for more than 140 local children, are all around town. Trees are located in Grand Coulee at Funzee’s, Safeway Pharmacy, and Glacier (formerly North Cascades National) Bank, and at the Coulee Dam Federal Credit Union and Harvest Foods in Coulee Dam.

You can contribute to a child’s joy by taking one or more ornaments from any one of the trees and shopping locally for a gift based on the information given on the ornament(s). Many excellent gift choices for children are available at stores in the Grand Coulee Dam area. Be sure to check out these resources. Bless the children and the local merchants!

Wrapped packages with the paper ornament securely attached to the outside may be returned to any Trees of Sharing tree. Gifts need to be placed under the tree by Friday, December 13th so they can be sorted and prepared for delivery on Saturday, December 21..

If you have questions or want to help with Trees of Sharing, please call Linda Black 633-3611 or Jean Sanford 633-1250.

The Trees of Sharing is a community-wide program sponsored by local churches with the purpose of blessing Grand Coulee Dam Area children at Christmastime. The gift you provide lights up a child’s world during this season.
