Kids will put on Blackbeard play

Coulee Dam area school children will put on “Blackbeard the Pirate” when they perform as part of the Missoula Children’s Theater on Nov. 9, according to Crystal Jones, vice president of the PTA here.
School children from kindergarten through sixth grade will be the actors. Auditions start Monday, Nov. 4, at the Center Elementary School gym.
Jones said that 50-60 kids will be involved in the play.
Representatives from the Missoula Children’s Theater operation will be in the area directing the youngsters for performances on Saturday, Nov. 9.
It appears that the play will be at the Village Cinema Theater venue in Coulee Dam. The town council at Coulee Dam approved the use of the facility.
Auditions begin at 2:30 p.m. as soon as school is out, Nov. 4.
