All new students must be registered in order to start school on the first day, August 27. The Grand Coulee Dam Middle School has set up August 21 and August 22 as Registration Days for new students to the Grand Coulee Dam School District who will be entering the 5th, 6th, 7th or 8th Grades. Registration times will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please bring with you:

• a copy of your child’s official birth certificate

• copy of Social Security card

• immunization record

• last report card from the previous school attended

Students not registered prior to August 27, will be subject to a two-day waiting period before your child can start school. Returning students and student’s entering the 5th grade that previously attended Center Elementary are already registered with the Grand Coulee Dam Middle School and are in the process of being registered in classrooms.

Supply lists are available in the office at the Grand Coulee Dam Middle School which is now open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and they are available on line at http://www.gcdsd.org/middleschool/supplies.

Pirate Football will be starting, Monday, August 26 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and Pirate Volleyball will be starting, August 27 from 2:40 p.m., to 4:30 p.m. Athletes need to have current physical, all athletic forms (available on line) and a concussion form. Forms are also available at the middle school office.

Mark the Date: *August 22 – “Welcome Back Family Night: LRHS will be hosting the BBQ and the Middle School will be providing ice cream for dessert from 6 to 8 p.m. Information to families is in the process of being mailed home.
