Marcella Frances “Marcy” Stoelil-Jones, 90, born April 15, 1923, into the Olivia, Minn., home of William and Frances Stoelil, passed into the arms of her Lord Jesus Christ on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 from her Coulee Dam, Washington home. Following high school, Marcy joined the United States Marine Corps in which she served her country during World War II. Marcy was a long time member of the Marine Corps Women’s Auxiliary and had worked as switchboard operator, but loved spending time as a volunteer daycare provider for children when not enjoying puttering in her house or tending to her always fruitful garden.

A member of Coulee Dam Community Church, Marcy lived out her lifelong Christian faith seven days a week.

Marcy’s legacy lives on through her loving husband Dennis Jones of Coulee Dam; daughter Teri Sharp of Oakland, Calif .; grandchildren: Sarah and Eric; brother Don Stoelil; sister Margaret Rupp and her lifelong friend Arvilla.

Cremation has taken place at Marcy’s request with a celebration of her life to take place in Coulee Dam Community Church in Coulee Dam, at 11 a.m., on Saturday, July 13, 2013.

Her family requests that any contributions be made in Marcy’s memory to Coulee Dam Community Church, 509 Central Drive, Coulee Dam, WA 99116.
