4/23 - Coulee Medical Center staff reported to police that a mental health patient being seen in the emergency room had pushed past a nurse and left the hospital on foot. She was found in the backyard of a nearby residence, and police and a mental health official convinced the woman to return to the hospital.

4/24 - A 13-year-old Middle School girl was referred to Grant County juvenile authorities after she was allegedly found with a baggie of marijuana in her backpack along with a smoking device.

- Police answered an alarm at Les Schwab Tire Center and found the front door unlocked. An employee was called and secured the door.

- Police were called to a Hill Avenue apartment where a woman reported that her boyfriend had returned home after drinking and hit her and pulled a door off the hinges. The man was found at another apartment, arrested and taken to Okanogan County Jail facing charges of domestic violence and malicious mischief.

4/25 - An injured deer report came from a resident on Hill Avenue. Police looked for the animal but were unable to locate it.

- A woman on Noble Road reported that a window had been broken out of her vehicle and a tire slashed. Police are checking into it.

- A Coulee Dam man using a metal detector was advised that he couldn’t dig holes in the Grand Coulee Park. Police responded to a call that a man who had a pit bull without a leash was digging holes. The man replaced the divots that he had dug, and apologized after receiving a warning from police.

4/26 - Police were advised by golf course personnel that cattle were on the course. Police called the owner of the cattle in Electric City and were advised that the man was already on the scene.

- A woman was cited for assault in the fourth degree for choking another woman. She said she was set off when she saw the woman near her child and went over and started choking her.

- A woman called in a complaint from Bowen Street. Officers found a woman on her knees in the middle of the street. Police said she told them she was trying to “make amends with her husband, and he wouldn’t talk with her.”

- An officer responded to a call of a person having an allergic reaction at Milepost 5, on SR-155. Police had a passenger drive the car and follow him to Coulee Medical Center.

4/27 - Police were called to an apartment complex on Continental and found a woman in the commons area who had fallen. She was still lying on the floor. The officer asked if she needed an ambulance and she said no because the last time she had one she was charged $200. The woman was helped up off the floor.

- A woman known to have a warrant out for her was arrested near Four Corners after an officer saw her enter the service station. When she came out she was arrested and taken to Grant County Jail.

4/22 - A driver with an intermediate license was stopped because his license light was out and the officer found that he had two youths in the vehicle under the age allowable by his license. The driver was cited and the two in the car said they would call for a ride.

- A woman only got a warning after being stopped with studded tires on her vehicle. Another driver received the same warning when she was stopped for still having her studded tires on her vehicle.

- A clerk at Jack’s in Coulee Dam told police that a woman from Omak wanted gas but didn’t have money so she said she would leave her I.D. card and return and pay the $10.03 gas draw. She didn’t return and police now have her I.D. card.

4/26 - A man on Cedar Street called police because of a domestic dispute and later was taken to jail for allegedly grabbing a woman by the neck and then preventing her from making a call to police. He told police that he was only trying to patch things up because his visa had run out. He was taken to Okanogan County Jail, and the Border Patrol was advised.

4/28 - Eleven residents were advised that their properties were in violation of the town’s nuisance ordinance, and all were advised to get their properties in compliance to avoid a citation. The properties were on Tulip, Walnut, Central Drive, Yucca and Civic Way.

- Two people sitting on the curb across from Jack’s were interviewed by police, who found that one had a valid warrant out for his arrest.

- Later three residents on Holly and one on Pine received notices that their properties were in violation of the town’s nuisance ordinance and they had five days to correct the problems or they could be cited.
