Brett and Shelly Black of Elmer City are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Taylor Black to Joshua Friesen son of Dave Friesen of Electric City and Tina Friesen of Omaha, Neb. 

Josh proposed to Taylor on a hike overlooking Blue Lake below the tower of Liberty Bell Mountain. 

Both are attending Eastern Washington University where Taylor is studying exercise science and Josh is in journalism. 

The wedding is planned for August, 2014, after the couple has graduated from EWU.
