The Grand Dames singing group is back with a new show featuring the roots of country music. If you missed last year’s show about life, love and losing, you will have three days, Oct. 11-13 at 7:30 p.m. to enjoy the close harmonies and outstanding solos from the local group, says producer Larry Curtis.

This year, the production of “GRAND DAMES GO WEST-A Short History of Country Music and a Salute to Our Hero Gene Autry” will be held in conjunction with the Chamber’s “Coulee Harvest Festival” on that Saturday.

This year’s group returns some of the same voices with a couple of new additions. New artist Jamie Holeman joins returnees Darlene Morava, Becky Kerns and Judy Curtis in the quartet that provides the lead in the performance. Various guest artists have been invited to participate in the program, plus there will be audience participation opportunities.

Tickets to the show are $5 each and can be used any of the three nights. They are available for pre-sale at the Coulee Dam Credit Union and the North Cascades National Bank and from cast members. Tickets will also be available at the door for each show.
