Douglas County Fire Protection District 3 appreciates all the help we received from our local and neighboring communities, fire departments, individuals and businesses who provided their help, services, food and equipment during the KV 500 yard, Barker Canyon and Leahy Junction fires.

Thank you to the Dept. of Transportation and Douglas County Commissioners for releasing resources during the three fires. Thank you also to all the Okanogan County Fire Departments and individuals who provided help or equipment to fight fire at one end of our district or the other.
