Adult Basic Skills/GED Classes offered

Do you need to improve your basic skills or get your GED certificate so you can get that better job or go to college? Have you started but not finished taking your tests? This fall is the time to prepare for your GED exam, especially if you’ve already started taking the series of exams. You must finish by December 2013. In January 2014, a new GED test will be used and any tests completed using the old series will not count towards a GED.

GED classes are offered locally through Big Bend Community College. Fall quarter classes begin September 25 and will be held Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 3:30 to 6 p.m. at the Grand Coulee Dam Middle School. Call Linda Black at 633-3611 or email lblack_ged@ yahoo.com or Sandy Cheek, Big Bend Community College Director of Basic skills, 509-793-2305, for information.
