The Grand Coulee Dam School District board approved a number of hires and resignations at its Monday night meeting.

Hires include Marcy Doughty as a Grand Coulee Dam Middle School special programs paraprofessional; Aaron Derr, Center Elementary librarian; Lis Sem-Rodriquez, second-grade teacher; Joe Tynan, middle school special programs paraprofessional; and Andrea St. Clair as middle school head volleyball coach.

Resignations include Dorene Egbert as middle school paraprofessional and Irv Williamson, Head Start custodian.

The board also approved a leave of absence for Sherri Boutain in the kitchen.
