Randolph W. “Randy” Socula

Randolph W. “Randy” Socula, 47, surrounded by his family, moved on to be with his ancestors Wednesday morning, August 22, 2012, from Spokane, Washington.  Born into the Grand Coulee, Washington home of Maurice W. and Helen (Nelson) Socula on November 6, 1964, Randy was a proud member of the Colville Confederated Tribes.

A lifelong resident of the Grand Coulee area, Randy was baptized into the Roman Catholic Church and graduated from Lake Roosevelt High School where he was a standout member of their baseball team. He was an avid Seahawks fan. Though he always loved to see the Seattle Seahawks win, the greatest day of Randy’s life occurred in Grand Coulee, Washington, on April 5, 2008, when he married Debbie Williams.

A wildlands firefighter, Randy enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing and hunting as well as spending time with his many friends at the Electric City Bar & Grill. A devoted family man, Randy’s greatest joy and love was spending time with his daughter, Jessica and grandkids, Jazmine, Jayden, and Jace, both those related by blood and his chosen family, whether picnicking, camping or just relaxing around the house.
