Summer reading program has started

Every summer North Central Regional Library plans activities at each branch of the Library system. The theme this summer is “DREAM BIG! READ!”. The  Pacific Science Center will be presenting at the Grand Coulee Library “The Space Odyssey Show!” at 1 pm. on Thursday, July 19.  All ages are welcome to this free program!

Join the fun this summer at the Grand Coulee Library with presenters focusing on stories and activities about dreams, night time creatures, wishes, hopes and aspirations. There are also stories, crafts and reading challenges for all ages. Ten hours of reading or being read to enters you into a drawing for a donated bicycle, plus you can win prizes along the way as you discover adventures and dreams through reading.

• Friday, July 20 at 10 a.m.  - Constellation Craft

 • Friday July 27 at 10 a.m.  - Master storyteller Deb McVay

• Friday August 3 at 10 a.m. - NCRL Puppet Show

•  Wednesday August 8 at 10 a.m. - Kaleidoscope Craft

• Friday August 10 at 10:30 a.m. - Summer Reading Program Gala

You may continue to turn in your reading hours until school starts.
