Gabe, Timmy and Emma happily announce the marriage of their mother Rebecca Dawn Shull to Jared Andrew Avey.

On Saturday, March 23, 2012, the couple’s wedding reception was held at their home in Sherwood, Ore. Valerie Wilkenson was the officiant with Jared and Rebecca’s own vows recited as well as a music picture video shown of them and the children throughout their courtship. Daughter Emma danced down the aisle as flower girl. The bride’s close friend Tonya Valencia traveled from Utah to be matron of honor during the special day. Jesse Worden (more a brother than a friend) from Elmer City served as Jared’s best man.

Rebecca’s parents Bruce and Cecilee Shull reside in Myrtle Point, Ore. John and Jan Avey of Electric City are Jared’s parents. Sonja Everett and Clifford and Phyllis Avey of Coulee Dam and Carolyn Pachosa of Brewster are Jared’s grandparents.

The newlyweds honeymooned on a cruise to Cabo San Lucas.

Jared is a 2004 graduate of Lake Roosevelt High school and works in sales. Rebecca is employed at a dental office. They recently added a puppy named Stella to their family.
