Neighborhood ghetto fabulous
Letters to the Editor
I have a few concerns; one, let’s just start at this neighborhood clean up. The town that I live in is close to lakes and mountains for great recreation sports. So I do have these toys she complains about – motorcycles, boat, camp trailers, snowmobiles with etc … I live in the country.
If she hasn’t noticed the economy is hard right now so people do what they can do to recycle and to make an income. Which I think is great; we’re cleaning up all the time.
Where do you think it comes from? All over town, buried from old jobs that were done or along side of the roads. That’s trying to keep the town clean and save the environment.
You want to complain, let’s get real. What about our drinking water? No good. Our sewer systems are no good. How about some slow down signs and some speed bumps for our kids in this community? Or how about bringing in new businesses for the economy to have jobs? And we can build the town that we all want to see.
People have complained for years about having to drive an hour-and-a-half to go buy a swimsuit or other etc… we even lost over half the tourists in our town over this. Because of this all of the businesses rely on them for income. So I hope you got the point I am addressing to you … “Neighbor.”
I don’t dislike you or be silent to you, you say bring neighbors closer. Well, we all look after each other like neighbors do, helping out one another, all it would have taken was communication. Not going and slapping all of us in the face, not just once but twice! Or sneaking around and taking pictures. Come on, lady, ever heard of invasion of privacy. Are you serious, how about picking up your own dogs messes and stop trespassing? If you don’t like it, stay out of it.
Thank you.
